Was honestly not expecting to buy at a dealer but price was comparable and service was fabulous. We bought a one year old second hand Toyota Corolla hybrid. Rick gave us all the info we needed & didn’t give the hard sell. The product sells itself and Downtown Toyota were super helpful with the process. I’m very disappointed. I changed to this dealership as they review. I needed a roadworthy certificate so I asked to do it. I got a call that the wipers need to be replaced to pass the roadworthy. Even that was just replaced at last service less than a year ago and it work just fine. I asked than do not do the roadworthy as not willing to pay $88 for a wiper that last 3 months and doesn’t covered by warranty. They said than I have to pay still the roadworthy that already done but the car fail it. They provided the option to come back after i replaced it myself and they redo the break test and check that would take 1.5hr-2hr.
As you see they force me into to pay $88 extra for the wiper should be under warranty otherwise i lose the $99 that cost the roadworthy certificate. Not to talk about that the car has the 90k service including replace break oil so break test and all other checks have to be done already under the service that cost $589. So for the certificate they do nothing extra. Such a bad customer relationship. Rip you off where they can.
They tried to sell aircon cleaning as well that nothing just spray into the inlet and done.
Cleaning the car found that they scratched the wheels. Careless tech.
